After extrusion, the profiles are placed in an artificial aging oven. Depending on the alloy and the desired hardness (usually T6), the profiles go through an aging cycle for a certain time at a certain temperature, during which the separation of the secondary phases is accelerated.
The aging furnace can accommodate profiles up to 7.15 m long.
